He has only been playing rec because there hasn't been an opportunity for him to be on a more competitive team. The last 2 years his rec team has made it to the state tournament. He is one of the better players on his team. He does well at batting and fielding the ball. Even though he's not on a team now he has been continuing to practice his hitting at the batting cages. He loves the sport and would love the opportunity to play more and be more competitive.
